Sprawling across an area of 25000 sq. ft. Surya Samudra has 24 treatment rooms with more than 80 body and beauty experiences. All the packages are based on ayurveda, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. The resort has an ayurvedic massage centre and a yoga centre where guests are provided the holistic therapies. These therapies are done with traditional oils prepared by expert doctors. Apart from treatments, Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation sessions are also available for beginner and advanced level. Visitors will also be taught Ayurvedic cooking and given kneipp hydrotherapy sessions.

The spa has 31 cottages that are categorized into 5 different types - Rock Garden, Heritage Classic, Heritage Premium, The Octagon and The Banyan Tree Bungalow. Designed in a traditional way, it has all spacious cottages with wooden pillars, terracotta roofs and tiled floors that create an elegant look. All cottages are air-conditioned and have amenities like LCD TVs with cable channels, minibar, Wi-Fi, pillow top beds, bathrobes and slippers along with open-to-sky showers.
