Nestled on the banks of Banjaar River, the luxurious safari lodge overlooking the heart of Kanha National Park is the ultimate way to know the wild and the wilderness. Their luxurious tents are designed with pressed bamboo wall panels and bamboo flooring. Fabrics are draped in Gond artwork, delicate saffron and acid-washed green with the famous block printing of Madhya Pradesh. Cuisine
Banjara Tola offers an anytime, anywhere dining concept alongwith 24-hour in-room dining. Visitors can relish local delicacies like kathi rolls, pao bhaji, raj kachori for breakfast. Lunch consists of salads, lentils, vegetables and meat, that can be served either in room or by the pool on a shaded deck. Bush dinner comprises of roasted chicken in a clay or thali relished amid a sal forest that is lit by lanterns. Enjoy a traditional dance and singing. Alcohol is not served either in the lodge or any restaurant as Centre and State Governments have put a ban on the sale of liquor along national and state highways.
Jeep Safari (6.00 am – 6.00 pm)
Explore the jungle on a Jeep and witness a tiger lazing in the muddy pools, find a leopard in tree or come face to face with jackals, peacocks and bison.
Elephant Rides
On the back of a elephant, venture the jungle in a majestic way. Meet its fellow animals and also the birds that might come to greet you in the cool morning air.
Nature Trail (6.00 am – 6.00 pm)
Do some jungle hiking in the buffer zone and on your two feet know the Kanha National Park from close quarters. Accompanied by a naturalist, understand the forest eco-system and its unknown creatures.
Note: Kanha National Park is closed from July to Mid-October during monsoons.
