Nestled in the rich buffer zone of Bandhavgarh National Park, Mahua Kothi presents 12 fascinating suites called ‘kutiyas’ which are gracious homestead ‘kothi’. Spread over an area of 40 acres woodlands, the lodge has a magnificent swimming pool, traditional garden, interactive kitchen and a Safari Shop. Smell the jungle breeze!
The Kothi has 12 brilliantly decorated cottage suites with double and twin beds. Every room has its unique & rustic aura. Inside, you will find high ceilings, terracotta tiles, a fireplace, fans, private verandah to sit and overhead fans etc.
Cuisine
Following the ancestral cooking customs and the age-old village traditions, Mahua Kothi offers cuisines that provide a never before dining experience. Begin your day with the sumptuous ‘Baghiya’ breakfast with Indian delicacies. Guests can also enjoy pool side lunch, at nearby water hole, at lounge or have dinner under the Mahua tree. Indian breads ‘rotis’ are cooked on local chulha(stone & mud mixed stove) in a traditional way.
Mahua Kothi Signature Experiences
Twice daily safaris are conducted on specially designed 4X4 vehicles, accompanied by expert naturalists. For a closer communication with nature, take a nature trail in the buffer zone. Visit the picturesque villages and farms of Rancha and Dobha to meet the village people and get a feel of the local life. If you aspire to be a budding naturalist, then undertake the Junior Naturist Program for 3-4 days.

The nearest Airport to Taj Mahua Kothi is Jabalpur (200 Kms) & Khajuraho (250 Kms). Both the airports are well connected to other cities of the country. Transfer facilities are available from the Kothi.
