Fairy Queen remains one of the oldest luxury trains in India, with its history dating back to the 1855. The train was launched for the erstwhile East Indian Railway, and its steam engine is the oldest working engine. The Luxury Train is jointly operated by Indian Railway & IRCTC and arrangements in Alwar & Sariska are managed by RTDC.
This Luxury train has won many awards, including the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records and the National Tourism Award. The journey in Fairy Queen is an experience that allows you to walk through some of the priceless gems of Rajasthan.
Fairy Queen Express consists of a 60-seater air-conditioned chair car with life size glass window to offer you a splendid frontal view of the Locomotive. The coach also features a stunning lounge in the front offering picturesque views of the countryside.
Destinations Covered (1 Night/2 Days)
Taking you to some of the historic destinations, Fairy Queen lets you tour the royal state of Rajasthan. Explore the captivating city of Alwar that is home to a list of historic monuments. You can also visit the renowned Tiger Reserve of India, Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. Sariska also houses dramatic ruins of 9th and 10th century temples, which take you back into the history of this place.
